How It Works

Three Steps to
Online Coaching

Everything happens inside GolfLive — the platform I use to coach students who can't get to the facility in person. It's like Zoom on steroids: live video built for golf, with all the teaching tools you'd get standing next to me on the range.

01

Download GolfLive & Book

Grab the free GolfLive app on your phone, create an account, and book a time with me. Set your phone up at the range, on the course, or in a simulator bay — no special equipment needed beyond the camera you already carry.

Meet Live Over Video

We connect in real time and you hit balls while I watch. I can capture your swing on the spot, replay it in slow motion, draw lines right on the video, and compare it side by side with earlier swings — every tool I'd use in person.

Get Instant Feedback

No waiting days for a review. You see what I see the moment it happens, make the change, and hit the next one while we watch together. Every lesson is recorded and saved to your profile, so you can rewatch it before your next practice.

Two Ways to Work Together Online

Choose the format that fits how you learn. Plenty of students use both — a live session to set the plan, then video check-ins to keep it on track between rounds.

Swing Video Analysis

Send swing videos through GolfLive whenever you practice and get feedback back on video. Ideal between live lessons, or if your schedule is unpredictable or you're in a different time zone.

Virtual Lesson FAQ

Common Questions

What is GolfLive?+
GolfLive is a live video platform built for golf lessons — think Zoom on steroids. Instead of a plain video call, I have all the teaching tools I'd use in person: instant replay, slow motion, live drawing on your swing, and side-by-side comparisons, so you get feedback the moment you hit the shot. It's free to download on iPhone and Android, it's how I deliver all of my virtual instruction, and it handles scheduling and payment too.
Do I need special equipment?+
No. A phone and the free GolfLive app are all you need. Set your phone up down the line or face on, keep your whole swing in frame, and make sure you have decent light and a solid connection. If you have access to a launch monitor or simulator, sending those numbers along helps — but it isn't required.
How is this different from an in-person lesson?+
The coaching and the standards are identical — what changes is the format. In person at Championsgate, we have Flightscope launch monitor data and Sportsbox AI 3D motion capture on hand. Online through GolfLive, I still have my full set of teaching tools — live replay, slow motion, drawing, and side-by-side comparison — with instant feedback on every swing. It's remarkably effective for swing mechanics, setup, tempo, short game technique, and course strategy.
Can I do virtual lessons if I'm already a member?+
Absolutely. Plenty of members add virtual feedback to stay on track while traveling or between in-person sessions. Reach out and we'll work out the right combination for your schedule.
How quickly will I get feedback?+
Instantly. During a live GolfLive lesson you get feedback on every swing in real time, with replay and drawing tools right on screen. Every lesson is recorded and saved to your profile so you can rewatch it anytime.
Where can I see virtual lesson pricing?+
Pricing for virtual lessons and video analysis packages is listed on my GolfLive profile, where you can also book directly. If you'd rather talk it through first, contact me and I'll walk you through the options.
